We’ll start off with a metaphor hunt. In small groups, to find the most metaphors in 10 minutes. Whichever group has the most will get 2 points of the quiz today.
Next, we’ll take the quiz and go over it.
Then, I want to introduce you to the Sci-Fi paper and give you time to brainstorm What-ifs, suspenseful situations, and unexpected twists.
Finally, we’ll get a headstart on the reading. We’ll read the beginning of Burning Bright in class and speculate on the ending.
HW: Read to page 139 “…and he was swept away in the dark.”
