A little switch today. We’re all about A-day today instead of C-day…
As we discussed, we’ll start with a 30/40 minute reading period. Easy credit.
Next, we’ll do a peer edit for your Sci-Fi short story. We’ll be looking for: strong suspense, awesome what-ifs, and unexpected twisty endings…I might also give you some time to work on your stories.
Finally, we’ll read A Sound of Thunder in class and stop it mid-way…How would you end the story? We might also look at this example of suspense to get an idea what we’re up to…
If we have time, we’ll take a look at the This I Believe site as our next unit will be the Personal Essay writing unit.
HW: Finish Sci-Fi story for Wednesday.
