Your group’s job—should you choose to accept it—is to create a short (1 minute) advertisement for the Fahrenheit 451 world. The idea is that your ad would be broadcast on the parlor walls in order to convince the populace to believe one of the following three ideas.

• Reading is bad!
• You need to buy a new Wall TV!
• Report any suspicious activity to the Authorities!
• (Your message here…check with me)

Before you perform, you should think about what would be most convincing to the audience, create a rough script, and produce whatever visuals you will need for the spot.

Then, I want to show a quick clip from Hitchcock and look at how the great director worked with suspense in movies.

Now, we’ll get a head start on the third section of F451; I want to read out loud for a bit before you start. We’ll have the last section due on Monday.
